How Long Does It Take For You To Fall?

Inactivity/hiatus throughout anything you’re working on can definitely affect you in a negative way and you should always avoid entering this avenue. An inactive publisher on a website will most likely lead to no updated content unless you run a forum.

A blog would be considered something that would be affected. I’ve tested and noticed that readers do not come back quite often when you your blog isn’t updated as much. To make more money, you would always want readers to come back and stay active on your blog.

What to do during your hiatus?

  1. Guest Bloggers:
There are many bloggers that would be interested in guest blogging on your blog and this is simply to build reputation and receiving visitors that they didn’t have before. Guest blogging is found to be beneficial to both bloggers so you should always look into that.
  2. Time Stamp Posts:
Prepare ahead of time and prepare quality posts to have them time stamped even though you are not here. This is a great feature which the Wordpress script has. You can have your articles posted anytime you would like.
  3. Answer Questions:
Your readers will have many questions needed to be answered so why don’t you make those type of posts when you don’t have much time to right a full post? It’s a great way to make a quick post when you are in a rush.

These are just a few that can help you prepare for when you’re going on a little break. You definitely don’t want to keep your blog or site inactive while your gone since it doesn’t lead to anything positive on your side.

Has Google Laid Down On Suspensions?

It just seems to occur to me that when I first started working out on the web, I’ve received many complaints from friends that their accounts were suspended by Google. It wasn’t for no reason too; many failed to follow the simple guidelines that were provided by Adsense.

After two years now, I’ve heard of less complaints so is it something that has been changed on Adsense or are the web publishers following the guidelines now?

If you’re not abiding by Adsense guidelines at the current moment, I highly urge you to begin to right now or else you can put yourself into situations that you wouldn’t want to be in. Especially due to the current competition in that niche and if you use Adsense as your main source of revenue.

Is Yahoo! Being Too Green?

This is a crazy news that has surfaced the net. I didn’t actually believe that this would occur but what’s done is done and there’s nothing to do in order to stop it. The merge of Microsoft and Yahoo! seems to have ceased. Microsoft ended up leaving the bid because Yahoo! wouldn’t accept their offer.

What has this done?

A real competition between Google. There isn’t really any real competition between Google because they take majority of the internet and continue to be successful. Also, Yahoo! and Google has tested out a few weeks ago a deal that they would soon work out. So this leaves Microsoft in the dust! Microsoft, one of the biggest companies out right now, has been rejected by another business that’s not really in the same level as they are. Yahoo!’s stock has went down by a lot which was expected but do you think they will be able to redeem their selves?

In my opinion, the buyout is what brought their stocks to raise and now it’s back to where it started and Yahoo! hasn’t been improving for a while now. Now if their deal with Google goes successfully, then they do have a chance but I don’t see any way that Yahoo! can redeem itself.

What’s your opinion on this?

Your Own Style Makes You Stand Out

One thing that makes people notice you much is your own style. Imagine in your personal life, who would you notice first? A quiet person or a very loud person? Make your style stand out among all the readers and you can get you a ton of visitors by working this tactic.

A few well known bloggers are quite known for their own personal style. Shoemoney posts free posts mainly everyday a long and makes a lot of money so that got him attention, John Chow write posts about food and cars and makes grands on his blog, I publish professional guides on earning a success. Have your own style and attract readers with similar interests as you.

When would you know your style is sticking out? That would definitely be when you notice people write about your blog on their blog. Those attentions is what started the well known bloggers and brought them new readers. Their style was publicized all for free from their own readers!
