If you’re a web publisher or webmaster, then you all should have your favorite niche that you like to work with. Whether it’s something you enjoy doing, something that’s gotten you success or probably something you make your living off of. I’d have to say that my favorite niche out of all would be… online arcades!

A lot of people underestimate these type of websites as they say the market is too saturated but trust me, a market is never too saturated. You simply have to work your way around it in order to accomplish higher goals. I’ve been in the arcade niche for about a year or two and learned a lot. I’ve been able to earn a few bucks since starting out and my revenue simply kept increasing time after time.

If you’re one of those that are testing out all type of niche websites, then keep doing that and eventually you will be able to find one of your choosing. However, over the next few days, I’ll be discussing how you can start your own arcade and start making money with it! I will publish it all for free and will be providing you with more information on my current arcades.

I believe this will be a very long topic so I’ll be breaking it in sections and will be publishing them out on a daily basis. I don’t believe it will exceed five posts though but it will definitely be descriptive with statistics as well. It’s never to late to enter this niche and you will only know if you can do it, if you try!

I just recently purchased my own server these past few days and have been busy transferring all my websites to it. When you have a lot of websites, you can get quite overwhelmed in the process of transferring websites. Like most of you would say, just get your new hosting provider to do it for you but I prefer to do it myself.

I’ve dealt with quite a bit of hosts and every host has a different outcome. I remember loosing quite a bit of files from a last transfer on a website of mine that I had my new host transfer for me but luckily, I still had my old hosting account up so I was quick to get the files back.

I’m about to start the transfer for this blog and should be completed momentarily but changing the nameservers is the big concern since it can take up to 36 hours but usually just a couple of hours for many people. After all, I’ll be hosted in my own box so no more worries about other users abusing the server!

Contests are proven to be a great way to gain traffic and statistics to your site if it’s done well. After a long contest that Tyler Cruz had a few weeks ago, he decided to do another one with better prizes. If you’ve never been to his blog before, then it would be great to check it out.

Being the second richest man in the US sure does bring quite a bit of popularity which has been proven to us by Buffett. Warren Buffet auctions out a lunch that anyone can have with him every year and then donates the money off to somewhere. This year, all proceeds happens to go to the Glide Foundation with a record high auction ever listed on eBay of $2.1 million!

That’s some big figures for only a lunch with someone but in return, you (the bidder) can possibly get a lot from it and it sure does go to a great cause rather than his own pockets. He has enough money already so why wouldn’t want to give it away?
